KAMLOOPS PLAYERS AUDITIONS


The Kamloops Players are hosting auditons for their fall production – “An Inspector Calls” – on Friday night, June 21st at 7:00, and Saturday morning, the 22nd, at 10:30, at The Stagehouse (422 Tranquille Road). THE KAMLOOPS GARDEN CLUB


The Kamloops Garden Club is holding their Community Rose and Flower Show at the Heritage House located at #100 Lorne Street in the Riverside park. Entries will be accepted between 8am and 10:15am  because the judging starts at 10:30am. Admission to the show is by donation, runs from 2pm until 4pm and includes tea, coffee, cake, prizes and the awards presentations. Special guest is Wim Vander Zalm. KAMLOOPS THERAPEUTIC RIDING ASSOCIATION


The Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association is having a Scavenger Hunt that is a Fundraiser Race called " Dash To Make A Difference " in the Kamloops Downtown Core. The Public is invited to register their team before Tuesday, June 25 that will consist of a total of 12 teams of 4. The prizes that will be presented at the Dash For Dinner with prizes, live entertainment and silent auction at the Commodore Grand Cafe and Lounge located on Victoria Street. If you'd like to support the cause and just attend the Dash for Dinner, you may purchase a ticket from the KTRA Office on Crestline Street for $20. BIG LITTLE SCIENCE CENTRE


The Big Little Science Centre is hosting a series of events coming up:

Saturday June 1: Static Show at 11:00am and 1:30pm
Saturday June 8: Magnetism Show at 11:00am and 1:30pm
Saturday June 15: Kite Day at BIG Little Science Centre 10:00am to 4:00pm.  Make your own kite, special lectures and a chance to fly kites all day long.
Saturday June 22: Air Pressure Show at 11:00am and 1:30pm
Monday July 1: BIG Little Science Centre Booth in Riverside Park for Canada Day from 8am to 6pm. Drop on by to enjoy many cool and fun hands-on science exhibits; a mini science centre in the park!

NEW LIFE MISSION GOLF TOURNAMENT


On July 13th the New Life Mission is hosting a golf tournament at Kamloops Golf and Country Club.  It is a 9 hole tournament with a 2 team alternating stroke format.  The shotgun start is at 4:00 pm. There is a Burger and Salad Bar gathering after play ends.
