Hey everyone, welcome to my page! You can catch me Wednesday to Friday in the evenings on Country 103.
Lets see...a little bit about myself: I was born in Merritt and did all my high schooling there. I then went to TRU (Then UCC)and graduated with a geography degree. During my years at TRU I started to volunteer at CJNL 1230 station in Merritt. In time I worked up to the weekend position at CHNL in Kamloops. I have been on air at the company now since 1998, and can be heard on Country 103 sister stations Radio NL 610 AM and 97.5 FM The River on weekends. I'm still waiting on a use for that Geography degree :)
When I am not at work, I spend my time catching up on my favorite tv shows and going to the gym. Those tv shows actually influence my radio shows, as I do Amazing Race and Survivor features on Radio NL and The River.
I love to travel, and have been a lot of places the last few years. In 2007 I travelled to Cambodia and China, and in 2008 I went to Brazil. My photo here was taken at Iguazu Falls on the Brazil/Argentina border. In the photo I am standing in Brazil, but the falls behind me are actually in Argentina! In late 2009 I returned to Cambodia for 13 days and went into Thailand for nine. While in Siem Reap, Cambodia I got to meet and talk to Canadian Country Superstar Paul Brandt!
